WOYWW....

Hello to all calling by for a catch up this week.  It's been another manic week here at Sewing by Annie's.  I have the twins here today for their third play day with Nanny Annie this week so will be catching up with you all either later tonight or tomorrow in between catching up with my sewing jobs.

I must thank you all for your love, care and concern for little Lulu and her sore finger last week and just quickly let you know that she went back to the hospital yesterday to have her dressings changed.  The Drs are really pleased with how it's healing.  It's still very swollen, as you would expect, but is clean and dry so they redressed it and she has to go back next Tuesday for another check up.  She was very brave at the hospital and didn't shed a tear even when the dressings had stuck and had to be pulled off....think she's braver than me!!!

So what's on my desks for this week?.....

I have just quickly made you a couple of collages that you can click on for a closer look to show you what I've been up to.....as you can imagine I don't have much time for writing at the mo.

My first crafty love just has to be my sewing....

I know I don't claim to be a paper crafter but over the years I have gathered an awful lot of paper crafting stash  :-).....so out of the closet I come.....

As you can see I'm never idle for long  :-)  Short and sweet this week.

Thanks for dropping by.

Hugs,
Annie x

i think you have to bin the idea that you aren't a paper crafter, especially as you seem to have more paper and card stock than I do!! Lovely blouse Annie, am about to rummage through my stock of patterns, I went out with Mary Anne yesterday and have fallen for some gorgeous fabrics...but they wont be pin tucked and embroidered.....not enough patience and I dont have a machine that does more than forward back and buttonholes!
glad that little L is mending.

Glad Lulu is ok and what a brave young lady. I squirmed at the thoughts of a stuck dressing. Braver than me.
Love that blouse - love those embroidered pin tucks - but putting sleeves in is easy? Wish I had your skill on the sewing machine.
Lovely atc book you made too - how can you do so much and cope with this heat? Wiping me out.
Take care and lots of love to you all

That top is gorgeous and so right for this lovely weather Annie. You've done a wonderful job on the book too.
Hope the twins don't run you ragged

Lovely top! Clever you! So glad Lulu's finger is healing well! What a courageous girl too! I hate hospitals and would probably shed a tear just being in one! Have a great week! Julie Ann x #45

Lovely, lovely top. Pin tucks!! Wow! well done - haven't done those in years, but they are so very effective and always look so good.
So glad Lulu is doing so well - a brave little girl.
Have a great, if manic, week.

I have every sympathy for Lulu having the dressing stuck to her wound...I had to watch Hubby take his off! I still shudder to think about it! I have never seen him in that much pain!
Great looking top and love your book. Keep it up Honey.

PS Hubby is starting a special 9.5 finger club and Lulu is now an honorary member! xx

I’m pleased to hear that Lulu is doing ok. It made my tummy do a flip when I read what had happened last week, so she’s so brave not to have cried when the dressing was removed.
Loving the detail on your new top, that will be nice and cool for your holidays.

Enjoy your day with the little ones.

Happy Crafting!

It looks like you have been very busy with sewing and paper crafting I don't know how you do it all

Glad to hear LuLu's booboo is healing. I think we get less brave about some things the older we get. I love to sew - quilt mostly - and have determined everything I'm 'in to' is about color. I can spend hours in a fabric store as easily as a paper store.

Creative Blessings! Kelly #105

So glad to hear her finger is doing so well.
I love sewing as well, but at the moment can't touch the sewing machine, because I can;t concentrate enough to do anything with it.
Ah well I suppose it'll pass.
Love you top.
Happy WOYWW and I wish you a lovely week.

Yes, for someone who doesn't claim to be a papercrafter you have quite a nice stash there. :) Love how the shirt is progressing. You make it look really simple, especially the pin tucks, wow! I love to sew, also, but rarely find the time. Thanks for stopping by my messy desk already and leaving me a sweet comment. :) Deeyll #50

Oh wow I had quite a bit of catching up to do. Most of last week was spent with no Internet, I had to use my mobile to even pay the wages lol. Worst thing was I couldn't use it for blogging as I nearly had used all my mb for the month. I have had the Internet back for a couple of days now so catching up. Poor lulu bless her she has been so brave. That top you have made is amazing. And your loss of weight, I need your secret, I just don't seem to have the will power but you have done amazing. Liking your papercraft boxes. Do you like decoupage? I loved doing it when I first started but now I have found stamping I don't do it much. I have some lovely decoupage images which I would love to send you, let me know, no worries if you prefer not lol. Right better be off, great to be blogging again mind you I have lots to catch up on. Happy woyww, I didn't do it this week as no Internet. Hugs :-) Kezzy xxx
